• I am customising a site and want to remove the links from the meta information under blog post titles – so that the author name, date and category tag appears in one (custom) colour.

Because the author and categories are links, the colour is the default colour for linked text. I don’t want to change that.

I want to remove the linking so that the meta data is text with a particular colour.

    Has anyone managed this?

Usually, the meta links have specific classes applied to them that you can use to target the coloration. (is that a word?)

Use your browser’s inspector to see what classes are set there.

    Thanks Steven.
I can identify the classes, no problem, but how do I remove the link, just in the blog meta data?

I want the text to still appear, just without the links (because the link text formatting is overriding the text colour change)

Use CSS to make the color what you want. There’s no need to remove the links.
