How do I perform SEO on WP front page? (3 posts)

I see how to perform SEO on pages and posts but how do I do it on a WP "Front Page"? I don't see anywhere to do it.

Should I create a "Posts Page" and do SEO there?

    Thanks

I did my front page as a homepage and did some seo there,
and then for my blog i did that in the post page part. I did it on both. I also used videos on youtube. I hope that helps some

Hi, I configured my front page to "Your latest posts" and it is working fine except that now Google search engine results page shows a funky snippet.

I am fooling around in "titles & Metas" on the "Home" tab. Is this where you put a preferred title and meta description or snippet? Maybe it is taking it but Google just needs time to start picking it up?

I have tried flushing my page cache and deleting all my cookies and browsing history but Google SERP is still not showing what I have put in.

Normally I would tinker with SEO below a page or post editor but when you set it to "Your latest posts" there does not appear to be anywhere to go to fix it other than the above mentioned "Titles and Metas".

If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
