how do I opening existing site

A friend of mine uses wordpress (I always go in with fetch and update with dreamweaver) and would like to work on a site I have. Is this possible and how can she access it? I have all the log-in passwords etc. Please excuse my ignorance. This is a real basic question. I would call tech support, but there doesn’t seem to be a number…
