how do I modify css for landing page

    How do I setup a single page (not post) in wordpress so that I can have my sidebar removed completely?

    The overall problem is that I want to remove adsense and extraneous links so that people on the landing page submit their email for a free gift–I imagine this can be interpreted as a “registration page” in Adsense TOS.
