I found the shortcode (duh) and tested the quiz.
– Can I edit the button text? It’s English now.
– Why is the button shown when I check ‘go to next question automatically’? I expect the button not to show up at all. Only when people have to be able to hit it for the next question.
But the main thing is: why can’t I choose a solution/outcome in the dropdownlist in the question editing mode?
Now I don’t have a clue how to show a certain outcome at a certain place.

To edit the button text you need to translate the plugin. Use Loco Translate plugin to make this easy. Our plugin textdomain is “chained”.
I can’t understand your question about the outcome. The outcomes are calculated based on the points collected. You assign points to the answers and the grade/result/outcome that covers the collected points will be assigned at the end. For example if the user collected 7 points and you have result that covers from 5 to 10 points, this outcome will be shown at the end.

Hi,
I’d prefer not to work with points – I hope they won’t be shown and will only be used to go to the correct result.
Idea for next release: make it possible to choose a result after the last question. Like I said: it’s not a quiz in the strict sense of the word, but rather a test – an interactive flowchart instead of a picture with an image map.
I’ll try using points and will install and use the Loco Translate plugin.

I’d like to install the Loco Translate, but I can’t find an option to edit the button under the questions. It’s not in your plugin. So… what exactly is the aim of the translation plugin than? I don’t have problems with the English version of your plugin, so maybe that’s a misunderstanding. I don’t know why to use Loco.

The results seem okay now, the points are not displayed. BUT there is a kind of a bug: your plugin doesn’t support shortcodes. I added a form to contact me in order to raise the conversion. The outcomes are the product that fits the clients needs best – in order to sell a.s.a.p. I want them to be able to fill in a contact form without clicking. This way conversion is raised to a maximum. If they have to click, the chance of not doing so certainly increases and then I will sell a lot less.
Please check the test-page for an example. At the end you will see a shortcode instead of the contactform it should display.
I’d LOVE this to be resolved. I also want to be able to add shortcodes for testimonials in the result pages…

For the moment shortcodes aren’t supported and have in mind even if we parse them, the final output is loaded by ajax – so some (many) contact forms that use javascript validations will not work.
We can’t work on the plugin during the next 2 weeks so you may need to use it as is or try an alternative plugin.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer. I’ll put a button in the results instead of the forms then. But hopefully there’s a solution for the shortcodes. Why can’t it work with Ajax? Isn’t there a way of working that out?
And what about the button ‘Go Ahead’ under the questions? Can I translate it and/or switch it off? It’s confusing now, because I make the questions continue automatically after choosing an answer, so the button is obsolete. It would be nice to have a choice (show the button or not).
I already checked many other plugins, but I need one that supports questions that depend on the answers. I only found this plugin. It’s very nice! There are just a few things that can be a bit better, like the shortcodes and the button.

You can translate all buttons. Here is a guide:

Regarding the ajax, it’s hard to explain. We’ll make the shortcode parse when I’m back after two weeks. And then you can try the contact for but for now just add a link or button.

Okay thanks! In the meantime I’ll be able to offer the quiz to my prospects – that’s great. And any enhancement is appreciated very much! I’m looking forward to the parsing stuff.
Have a nice vacation and thanks for now!

Hi,
One more thing: what did you mean by
Our plugin textdomain is “chained”
And where do I find the .po file for translation? I already have PoEdit because I translated a few plugins before, but I can’t find the files of your plugin…?

Never mind about the last question (I use Loco Translation now). But the first questions still remains.

I translated your plugin, but I don’t see the results on the test page (see link above). I refreshed, used Ctrl+F5 but nothing happens…
How do I get my translation of ‘go ahead’ to show?

By the way, the test page is offline, you can now visit my published page with the active quiz.

The translation should appear if you have set up your language in the WordPress Settings page

I already set up the language in my root folder, so maybe that is why I cannot see it?
