How do I make my content a FIXED WIDTH?

Okay. So I’ve spent all evening trying to troubleshoot this issue and I just can’t seem to figure it out.

I’m trying to make all of my content: Header, Body and Footer to stay at a fixed width inside the page. What I mean by this is when I resize my window I don’t want anything to get smaller or bigger or resize and move around at all. I want it to stay the way it is and just have the window get smaller and bigger without effecting any of the content.

I would however like to retain the fact that all the content remain centered.

The site I’m talking about is here: http://lapackergroup.com

Thanks in advance for your help, it’s greatly appreciated.

Why would you want that? You are using a mobile-ready theme as it seems. Looks pretty messed up now. If you want fixed width, use a fixed width theme to begin with and make your modifications from there. Maybe the original TwentyTen or something.

Trying to fix the one you have will be too much trouble to bother with.

    Good Luck
