How do I link to a specific post?

  • In my current post, I would like to link to one of my older posts. I cannot find the ID of that older post anywhere. I did a search in these forums for “post id” and found where it is mentioned that if you hover over the name of the post title under Manage Posts, it will show the ID but that is not working for me. I’m working in Firefox – I don’t know if that is an issue or not.

How is everyone linking to specific posts without a post ID?

    Thank you for any help!

Just make a link to the URL of the post. Or am I misunderstanding you entirely?

You don’t need the ID of the post, you need its URL.

Yes – that did work. I apologize. I was going about it entirely wrong and making it much harder than it had to be.

I’m sorry, and thank you very much for responding!
