How do I limit the amount of posts shown at one time when clicked on a category?

    For example, if I click on “uncategorized”, I want the page to show maybe six posts max and have a “next” link to go to the next page to show more. How can I achieve this?

    In Settings->Reading, set Blog pages show at most to 6.

    Also consider something like the Custom Query String Reloaded plugin if you want different number of posts in various sections of your blog.
