How do I know it's installed??

I have been following along with the instructions here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress. I am at “Step 5: Run the Install Script” (under “Detailed Instructions”). I point my web browser to http://cranbrookdoula.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php and I end up at my blog. But there is no confirmation that I’ve gotten anything installed. I am not directed to the screen that appears in the “Finishing Installation” section, so I’m sure I’ve done something wrong. I edited the wp-config.php file, I’ve uploaded the files I downloaded from WordPress to my host server, Go Daddy did the database/user creation for me, so I don’t know where I’ve gone wrong! I am just really dumb, or this whole “Famous 5 minute installation” process not as easy as it sounds?
