Hi @nicolas1986
This article: https://themeisle.com/blog/install-xampp-and-wordpress-locally/ will help you to verify all your steps and check if it is installed or not. 🙂
I use XAMPP on mac, not on windows.
And it’s about WordPress only.
XAMPP is already installed.
Hi @nicolas1986
Sorry. Go with this: https://websitesetup.org/install-wordpress-locally-xampp/ (In last you will find if the WordPress is installed properly or not)
I’m providing the link of the article, just to help you verify if it is correctly configured or not. 🙂
Sometimes, it also causes problems to launch WordPress.
Now i see the following message :
Can’t select database
We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the wordpress database.
Are you sure it exists?
Does the user nicola_wordpress have permission to use the wordpress database?
On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_wordpress. Could that be the problem?
If you don’t know how to set up a database you should contact your host. If all else fails you may find help at the WordPress Support Forums.
