How do I insert 'the loop' (which is to display post dynamically) on my page.php

Hello guys,
I basically want to display a recent post on a grid box on my ‘event’ page.
I’m using JQuery Masonry for it.
However my post is not showing at all.
Even when I try to do basic loop, it actually links it to the Page, not to the post. This is what i mean :

http://postimg.org/image/s7v5ircpx/See how , on the first picture, the ‘Event’ inside the box is actually linking to the Navigation link which is the Event page itself?
The code I entered on the customized page.php is supposed to display recent post’s content and title into the box, but it’s not doing it.
I have 0 console errors. The console log I put in works tooWhat am I doing wrong here?
