How do I implement menu boxes?

    Hi,

I’m kinda new to WP and I’m in the proocess of setting up my very own web page. On the home page I want to do this thing with boxes… menu boxes. Kinda like promotion boxes for blog posts. They should look pretty much like this (see link: http://i48.tinypic.com/2eoa7gz.jpg) and link to my other pages (abou me, contacts etc…). Also I’d like to remove my menus and just have the boxes as menu tabs -> redirecting to the pages.

    Are there plug-ins for this?

The easiest way for a non-coder to get tabs as menus is to use a theme with this built in functionality/design.

That said, ‘tabs’ are really just a CSS trick. Rounded upper corners,no border on bottom, same color as the page, etc…
