    How do I get WordPress to stop stripping <p> paragraph tags from my code when I click on visual editor then go back to the HTML editing version. Everytime I switch between views I lose my paragraph tags. 🙁

    You are not losing your <p> tags because the visual editor already set your text in a paragraph see this

    If retaining HTML tags is important to you, then do not use the visual editor because it will mangle/destroy your HTML tags. In the Publish meta-box you’ll find a Preview button; use that to see what your post will look like.
