How do i get thumb to be clickable

    A quick question.
    I want the thumbnail/image that shows on the main page of my WP to be clickable to point to the topic in question, but not clickable within the post.
    I dont think the theme is coded this way but would really like it to be setup like this.
    Anyone suggest a fix?
