• At some point, a long, blue banner popped up at the top of my blog. It’s not causing an immediate problem, but it covers up my Home link and I’d like to get rid of it. I have looked in the CSS code to try to locate it, punching in every instance of color code into my Color Picker to see if it matches the blue banner, but I’ve not yet found it. If someone could point me in the right direction as to where to find/locate the banner code, and perhaps how to remove it safely, I’d really appreciate the tip.

  • That looks like a Friendbar for Twitter and Facebook.

Do you have a plugin or app for a Friendbar that can be disabled or change?

Thanks for the tip, Michael. I deactivated all my plugins, and the banner went away. Then I activated a few at a time to identify to culprit. It was a Google Friend Finder plugin, related to those you suggested. Much appreciated.
