How do i get i searchfield on a wp page where users can find data in a xml file

    Hi, cant find a solution for this:

    I have a large xml file (a medical database). I want to give users the option to find information in that xml database by writing in a search field.

    The xml file has nothing to to with the wp structure or a sitemap. I could use excel instead of xml. The database file shall not be visible. Are thre any plugins solving this? I can not code.

    Hi,

    I would do a web-search for something like this: ‘search in excel file from within wordpress’.

    OR; ‘How To Embed Any Data From Excel Within WordPress Pages’

    Doing that I found some pages that might point you in the right direction.

    For me several plugins came up that can show live data from a spreadsheet or to import excel files to show them as tables in WordPress.
