  • Shirley you jest ;-). Add the call for the sidebar into single.php, if you have one. If not (not likely), you’ll have to edit the index file to remove the conditional to display the sidebar.

    Thanks, I’ll try that out.

ok i can get the sidebar to show up, but it pushes the post down below it. Any idea how i would fix this?

The single.php usually has divs with different class names than the main page – like “widecolumn” instead of “narrowcolumn.” You will have to compare the two template files side by side and make them similar.

A heads up: The third party crap you have added to your site is keeping the pages from loading in a timely manner.

What do you mean by third party crap? J/W so i can try to fix it.

The div to fix is “contentsing” to “content”

And the third party site is some tracking site, extreme something or other. Also top100bloggers. I set time limits and cache junk from other sites so my site’s performance is not dependent upon others.

I have no idea how to set time limits and such. Thanks for the info. I’ll probably just end up taking it off. I appreciate your help.

Just so you know, I got it working. You rock!!

You could have asked me how to get that sidebar 😉

I have the same problem. I tried looking for an alternate class but even with changing that it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

It looks like you may have an unclosed div tag. Try validating your page.
