Support » Themes and Templates » How do I fix a broken menu system?

  • I am running a wordpress site at, and the menu system simply stopped working. It still displays two pages, but I cannot edit the menu at all without losing visibility to other pages. I once had four pages shown, and when I edited the menu for them, they vanished.

Is there a known bug for this, or a fix? I’m about to change themes, but since I used this one as my look and feel on biz cards and flyers, I’d really like to keep it. Please advise!

The default Twenty Ten theme (that comes with WP3) supports custom menus where you add/delete/edit the items you want.

You can check in Admin – Appearance – Menus if your theme supports custom menu or not. If it does, you can add/change/delete menu-item there. If not, then you need to do some searching in your theme’s relevant template to find the code. If interested, see this tutorial on setting up a custom menu in your theme.
