• OK gang,

I’ve installed WordPress (from WordPress.org) onto my server. I’m trying to find a theme that’s available on WordPress.com called “Quentin”. I’ve searched themes by name, and I’ve searched themes by author, and the search engine still can’t find it.

So if I want to find the theme called “Quentin” by “Mike Purdy”, how the hell do I find it???

    Thanks!

So I have to search for WordPress themes on Google?

    How fucked up is that?

I thought WordPress was supposed to be easy. WordPress has it on their “dotCom” side but not on their “dotOrg” side.

And I suppose I have to pay for these themes that are found on Google?

So I have to search for WordPress themes on Google?

I think that what most ppl do before they came here and start bitching about it.

anyway seem like Mike Purdy has stop developing the Quentin theme and some guys decide to continue his work http://www.kbanas.com/blog/?page_id=457

yes, its the third link in the google results I pointed the OP too.

as to the rest of your post, D-Wine –

So I have to search for WordPress themes on Google?

In the time it took you to register and post your thread here, had you looked in google first, you could have downloaded the theme and installed it.

    just food for thought.

    their “dotOrg” side.

if you are referring to the themes area located here:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

content there is by submission. In other words, its up to the person doing the work, be it theme work or in the case of plugins —

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

the person whos writes the plugin.

    Lastly,

    How fucked up is that?

if you are SO VERY TROUBLED that you may have to OMG!!! google for something — you are really out of your league around here.

and if you take offense at my saying that, I really dont care.

of course, NOT SURPRISINGLY, you could have found the theme had you JUST searched this forum. you didnt, apparently.

oh, and hey, youre welcome, jerk. learn to be gracious.
