How do I expand a category to show documents from front end?

    This is a simple question, but how do I make the file tree expand from front end for non-logged in users? I have made a couple of categories and put some documents in one of them but it is only possible to expand the file-tree from the front end when I am logged in. When I am not logged in the page only shows the top level categories, which do not respond when I click on them. Is there some kind of switch I need to turn on?

    This is my file tree. The first category contains around 20 files and one subcategory.
