It depends on the theme you are using. Which template? In a theme there are several template files…

Usually changing the layout is not a one-click operation, it means re-designing the theme.
I am moving my blogger blog to wordpress. The wordpress url is http://blog2.mindreality.com I intend to switch it to the original url once it is ready.
What do you mean by redesigning the theme? and How do I go about doing that?
Let’s not mix the two issues.
1. First make sure you successfully imported your stuff from blogger. Don’t worry about the theme before that!
2. Usually I mean exactly what I say: if you get a ready-made theme but you want to change it (=personalize, customize etc.) that means changing the original design of that theme.
