Support » Plugin: Follow Us Badges » How Do I Edit the LinkedIn Button Style – Person account?

    Hi,

is there a chance to use the “standard” button style (like with twitter, etc.) for LinkedIn if this is only a person link? Using the “link” only I can choose “person”. But the link button does not look good. Uncheck makes it look what I want, but I do not have a company profile on linkedIn. So – is there a chance to use the company look and feel for a person?

Update: the link for “Get your ID” only brings me to a side where I can build my own button, but there is no ID used in that code… and the link (below the ID-box) reads “http://www.linkedin.com/company/”112233″” when link is unchecked.

    Thank you!

    Best regards
    Peter

Currently LinkedIn only provides a way to display a follow button for Company pages only. Follow Us Badges gives you the ability to link to a person, group, or university page though a static HTML link. This is why there is a big difference between and follow button and a static HTML link.

If I am understanding correctly you don’t mind the static link functionality, but the style just doesn’t match your website. So you would like to just have the styling of the follow button, but for a person account, correct?

Yes, exactly. The styling does not fit to the way I did the buttons for Twitter and Facebook (with your plugin). So the link functionality for LinkedIn button would be fine (as this is the only way LinkedIn supports) but with the look of the others. Txs!
