How do I display subcategories in a single category?
-
How do I display the sub-items of this category in the category?
For example, I want to divide into a take-away and inside-use (this is a big category) sub-category is a dessert.
Excuse me, how can I display the classification of desserts inside?

Right now, the POS supports two options to display sub category product item tiles.
We understand your use case of nesting the sub-category as you click on each category to divide take-away and inside-use categories. This is a very unique setup, we like this feature request, thank you for sharing. We will add this to our feature request road map. We will work to build this feature in a future update of the POS.
For the two supported options. Go to the POS Settings, select the tab Products, scroll down to the section Product Tabs.
Option 1. Set the Sub Category as a Product Tab. To set up this option up, create the filter cat:[category name]. This will allow you to create a tab for each category.
Option 2. Display all the Category tiles. To set up this option, create the filter cat-list, this will show all the categories as tiles.
Under both these options, you would have to modify the names of the sub categories to show the difference between take-away and inside-use when they are all listed as tiles, for example dessert, you could list a category as idessert for inside-use and tdessert for take-away, as a result you will have a tile per category under the cat-list.
I hope this information is helpful until we work to build the nesting category feature you described.
I think that letting the filter display subcategories should solve this problem, but I don’t know how to modify it.
Currently cat:[category name] should be a display product instead of a subcategory. If you can change it to a display subcategory, that’s fine!Let me help clarify.
Let’s say you have a parent category, labeled Inside-Use with the slug insideuse.
If you create a product tab filter as cat:insideuse, this will show all products under that category name.
Let say you have a sub-category of the parent category, labeled Inside-Dessert with the slug insidedessert.
If you create a product tab filter as cat:insidedessert, this will show all products under that sub-category name.
Finally, if you use a product tab filter as cat-list, this will show all the category tiles: Inside-Use and Inside-Dessert, clicking on the tile will show the products under that category or sub category.
I know what you mean, but you seem to have misunderstood what I mean.
For example, internal and external is tab
When using this tab, the sub-category that is used internally is displayed.
Instead of point and internal use, it shows the products underneath. What I need is to display the sub-categories underneath when using this tab.
I have a parent category, labeled Inside-Use with the slug insideuse.
And have a sub-category of the parent category, labeled Inside-Dessert with the slug insidedessert.
When you click on the parent category (cat:insideuse)
Show sub-category( cat:insidedessert)
Click on sub-category( cat:insidedessert) to display the product under ( cat:insidedessert)Yes, we understood 🙂
The feature you describe is the nesting category functionality not supported at this time with tabs and product tiles. We’re going to develop this new feature and will have it ready in a future POS update.
Is there a way to bring out a discount on the coupon when you click out the user?
Not sure we understand your question.
The only way to remove a coupon from the cart after it has been applied is to click or tap the red circle x icon. Only this action will remove the coupon from the cart.
I mean to say
When you click on a member
Can you jump out of the coupon discount?
For example, if I click Alex, the member discount that automatically brings out alex is 80%.Thank you for that additional information.
Automatically applying coupons for customer selection is not a supported feature of the advanced coupons functionality for the POS.
The POS will have a cashier managing the checkout process, as a result, we avoid applying any coupons automatically to the order. If more users of the POS plugin request this type of automatically applying coupon feature, we will look to include it in our future roadmap for development.
When I want to add products, the inventory jumps out of these error messages. Can you tell me what to do?

Thanks for sharing the error message. Our development team is reviewing the error log you submitted.
We think the error is related to barcode functionality. We are trying to reproduce the error.
Are you using the Barcode field and search functionality when this error occurs on the POS?
To help us trouble shoot the error log, if you can provide us more information on when the error occurs. And if possible, even take a quick loom video of the error occurring that would be very helpful for us to reproduce the error with the log you submitted.
Also, are you using any other plugins to manage or modify the product details or inventory management for a product? This information is helpful to understand your setup, so we can try and reproduce the error and either provide information on how to fix or release a POS update to fix any bugs.
Is there a way to use pos only?
For example, this product is only displayed on pos, the page of woocommerce shop is not visible.Right now, if you change the catalog settings for the product to
Catalog visibility: Hidden
The product will not be displayed on the WooCommerce Shop or Searchable, but the product will still show in the POS system.
In the future, we will add more functionality for POS only products, but this is the current support to hide from the WooCommerce shop, but still show in the POS.
