I need to create a new page in Elementor to use The Events Calendar Elementor widgets in a template, but I don’t want the /events page to be out there lingering for someone to stumble upon. Do I just rename the slub events-2, create a new /events page and use the Elementor template builder to assign the template with The Events Calendar Elementor widgets to it? What do I do with this other page out there then? I don’t want it indexable or for someone to find.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @tonyzeoli,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Let’s see, if I understand correctly you do not want the page to be crawled by search engines. And would like to hide it from the frontend, so users can’t find the link, not unless you share it.

First, you might want to change the slug from /events (archive) and /event (single) to a different slug since this is the default page for the events, just make sure that they are both unique when you rename it.

Follow this article here on Changing the Calendar Location, method 1 should suffice:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/changing-the-calendar-address/

Next, you might want to install a third-party plugin that would disable crawling the page, such as Yoast.

Let me know if this helps or if this is what you are trying to accomplish.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hi @tonyzeoli,

Since we haven’t heard from you in a while on this topic we will assume that the problem was fixed or is no longer applicable and with that I will mark this as resolved.

If that is not the case, please let me know and I will gladly remove the “Resolved” tag and try to help you further. Or you can create a new topic with the problem if you prefer.

    Best Regards,
    Abz
