Hi, I work as a webdesigner for a small webdesigncompany, and I have been given the task to setup an public blog in my area. The blog is going to work almost as a some kinda local newspaper, where anyone can writedown news and stuff happening in the area.

But the problem is what they whant the blog to not require a login, instead anyone is supposed to be able to write what posts they whant.
And also, there is going to be no nead for entering e-mail address either. Instead we are gonna use IP log on everyone on the site.

If we doesn't force the visitors comming to our blog to login or enter any information, we will have a lot more visiitors writing what they feal in form of new posts and comments.

So basicaly the things I nead help with is:
1 Disable the nead to enter information about yourself
2 Make it possible to write new posts without a login
3 IP log on all vissitors what are writing on the blog

I'm not a n00b when it comes to webdesign and programming (have been doing it for 9 of my 20 years now). I know how to make some of the stuff, but not where to look in the code(I'm new to this code, so it almost becomes like a joungle).

PS! I'm using WordPress 2.7 (the controll pannel is is n00b friendly, so it's perfect for the people who is gonna be admin :P )

The plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tdo-mini-forms/ might work for writing a post while not being logged in.

Also a related discussion on wp-hackers may interest you:

This plugin shows visitor IP addresses--maybe useful:
