# How Do I Disable Comments?

 * I’m using WordPress 3.4.1 and Thesis 1.8.5. My question is, how do i Disable 
   comments on all pages and posts?

 * If it is not a Theme Option (review with Theme Dev.) then:
 * Admin Dashboard>Settings>Discussion>’Default article settings’>uncheck these 
   3 items, especially the third>Save>Clear cache if in use.
 * If any individual pages or posts have been edited to turn comments on, you may
   have to change them also.
 * This does not remove existing comments, they have to be deleted.
