    Hello,

    I am unable to disable this payment method, which appeared after the update.

    My client does not need it because we only make payments in EUR.

    Hi @sielwolf,

    I understand the confusion — BLIK recently appeared in the Stripe extension as part of the new payment methods rollout. You can disable it from your WordPress dashboard:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments.
    2. Find Stripe – BLIK in the list of available gateways.
    3. Click Manage (or Set up) and toggle it off.

    If you don’t see BLIK listed separately, it may be grouped under the Unified Payment Experience (UPE) settings. In that case:

    • Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Stripe.
    • Click Payment methods and uncheck BLIK from the list.
    • Save your changes.

    This will remove it from checkout so your customers only see the methods you want, such as card payments or SEPA, while keeping everything else intact.

    Could you try this and let me know if it works for you?

    Unfortunately, I am unable to deselect BLIK as it is greyed out.

    @sielwolf, this issue is probably occurring because we are using a payment method configuration from Stripe. Can you (or the client) log into the Stripe dashboard, navigate to Settings > Payments, and then view the available Payment Methods? It is likely that BLIK is enabled via Stripe, and you should be able to disable the payment method there. Please double-check that the relevant payment configuration is not being used in other contexts.

    We will also work on ensuring that we try to disallow unsupported payment methods programmatically, but it may take us a little while to get that resolved. Also, can you please let us know if you have the Optimized Checkout Suite enabled?

    Hi there!

    Thank you for sharing the screenshot. I’ve tried to replicate the issue, but I’m not able to — the Blink payment method does not appear on the checkout page unless it’s enabled.

    Just to clarify, are you trying to disable it from the backend, or is it showing up on the frontend checkout page?

    If it is appearing on the checkout page, could you please share your site URL so I can try to replicate the issue? Also, please share your System Status Report (found under WooCommerce > Status). You can use Pastebin or Gist and share the link here.

    Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

    In itself, it’s not a big deal; it only appears in the dashboard. I don’t see any other implications of this message in the frontend, in any case. It’s mainly for the customer, who is wondering what it’s about (and so am I 🙂

    Thanks for clarifying. Since the message only appears in the dashboard and doesn’t affect the frontend or your customers’ experience, it shouldn’t have any negative impact on your store’s functionality.

    Additionally, If you close that notice, does it appear again? I’m asking this because I’m not able to replicate the issue on my end, and before discussing it with my team, I’d like to gather all the necessary information.

    Phew, everything is back to normal.

    I didn’t even think to close the notification 🤓, as usually there is no option to do so.
