  • Do you mean where it says “Skimlinks Test”? That sounds to me like a plugin that you would need to interact with to tell it not to output that text.

I have to say that this is the worse site I’ve seen for loading time. It took 3 minutes to load and that entire time it was just white with a black line that moved a bit. You should definitely give the user something to look at while the site loads, and there is no reason it should take that long.
    Other issues:
The menu is all capital letters and long phrases and takes almost my whole window to show. Very unpleasant.
The top left sidebar has a list of words (looks like keyword spam) with no spacing, so the commas are at the beginning of the lines.

The right sidebar farther down has a title of Woodworking Posts, but has something about Red Tea.

The footer has a repeat of those long links. Looks like more keyword spam.

thanks for the comment-I corrected most of what you said, do you know how to get rid of the amazon script down there also. I took the amazon ads out of the site completely and it stll shows up,just like the skimlinks ad. I have gone into the back and deleted both scripts but they both come up again

@maximillian10 Please don’t follow people ‘home’ to their websites and contact them through there. If you need to talk to someone here, you can use the @ symbol and the name of everyone who’s replied will be an option for you. That will alert them to the fact that you need help.

HOWEVER don’t do this every time. Most people check the ‘Notify me of follow-up replies via email’ box and will be notified. If they don’t reply right away, it means they’re busy. Please be a little more respectful of the volunteers 🙂 I’m sure you meant well, but going to someone’s website to ask for help in a forum thread is not a good thing so don’t do it again 🙂

    resolved thanks
