How do I create a home page in iNove

    I am totally new to wordpress and iNove, which I think is a great theme by the way. You can see my page (still quite empty) at: http://www.terga.net/soporte2

    My problem may seem too simple. Initially, I created a post that appeared as home page and I could use the Home icon to navigate to it. Then I realized I had to use a page rather than a post to prevent the home page from getting old and moving away into the archives.

    But when i created the page, and deleted the post, I get an empty space when I click on the home icon, and my new page appears under a separate tab, no matter what name I give it. I can’t seem to find any way in the manage page options to indicate that a page is supposed to be the home page, like a drop down or a box.

    Please help!

    Hey

    Exclude Pages will let you ‘hide’ a page from navigation.

    However – I believe that your problem is in your site config. Go to Dashboard->Settings->Reading. Here you can set the homepage to your page and the blog on another page.

    I am fairly sure that this will solve both problems at once. If not, the plugin mentioned should help along the way to the solution.

    Both of your suggestions are very valuable. I found a solution and got a useful plugin along the way!

    I’m getting to love WordPress more each time. I am also very thankful to users like you that are always there to help.
