 * I want photos to have a black border when they have a caption.
    When I post a
   photo with no background, I get this: [http://www.modelheather.com/wp-content/uploads/NoCaption.png](http://www.modelheather.com/wp-content/uploads/NoCaption.png)
   When I post a photo with a caption, I get this: [http://www.modelheather.com/wp-content/uploads/Caption.png](http://www.modelheather.com/wp-content/uploads/Caption.png)
   Where can I go to control the color of the background of an image when it has
   a caption?
 * Thanks.

 * Screenshots are of no use. What might help is a link to a page demonstrating
   the problem.

 * Oh, boy … I feel like one of the Hardy Boys!! 🙂
 * ( But I’ll feel like a schmuck, if this doesn’t work )
 * Try this… find this in your style sheet:
 * >  .wp-caption
   >  { border: 1px solid #ddd; background-color: #f3f3f3; padding-
   > top: 4px; margin: 10px; }
 * Try changing it to this:
 * >  .wp-caption
   >  { ** border: 1px solid #000; background-color: #000; padding-
   > top: 4px; margin: 10px; }
 * See if that pushes it in the right direction for you.

 * Thanks! It worked perfectly!
 * Sorry for the newbieness, but the key for me was to look in the
    Appearance -
   > Editor-> Stylesheet (style.css).
 * Thanks for the timely help!

 * no wp-caption
    in any style sheet of my Theme, where could i alternatively find
   something that makes the caption or thumbs background?? P.S. my Theme uses something
   called “prettyPhoto” but i have no clue if this applies to any of the posts images
   at all nor can i find anything related to my issue in that style sheet either
