Hi, I see that your plugin has a very few options to configure.
However, I want to know how do I set it to use memcached?

Please, explain it to me in English since I really dont speak german (at all), I am from Brazil & I only know portugues, spanish and english. Thanks.

  • Sorry, but unfortunately there is just a German documentation at the moment:
    https://github.com/pluginkollektiv/cachify/wiki/Caching-Methoden

Memcached just works with nginx, but I think Google translate will help you to understand the text, so that you can customize your settings.

    All the best,

    Hi yasmimdoss,

I haven’t used Cachify with memcache yet, but it looks like that all you have to do is to set the caching method in the backend and than extend your nginx configuration as described in this file: https://gist.github.com/sergejmueller/6113816#file-gistfile1-txt

Memcache is only available with the nginx server, as Apache cannot access the memcache server directly and using PHP to access the server on an Apache server instead would be a lot slower than just using the HDD option.

    I hope that help.
