• Hi Mike!

First of all I like to say thanks for a really great plug in. Although, I ‘we hit a (hopefully) small snag. I ‘we already tried to search for a solution but without any luck. It’s not an actual problem with the plug in, it’s rather a lack of experience of my behalf regarding the limits of the plug in.

I have two fields with select options and I like to get an error message if the input in both fields are the same, is that possible?

[Field one] has option A, option B and option C
[Field two] also has option A, option B and option C

And for example when field one and two gets option B selected I would like an error message to be generated.

Is there, for example, any way to use validation regex for comparing two field values? Or could I use some other method?

    Thanks in advance

    Sincerely

  • Hi Centano you will probably need to implement some javascript code to get this working the way you want. Alternative you can create a support ticket and @mike Challis will reply back to you in regards to your best option.
