 * How do I check current wordpress version?
 * I know it’s basic and probably asked about 100,000 times before, but it may be
   simple, but not obvious. Its extremely irritating to have to ask for help for
   something that should be on the top of the dashboard.
 * I have searched the forum for similar and inquiries and found rude answers from
   not-it-alls, so I cannot trust anything they say.
 * Please reply nicely and your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

   number near the top of the page.
