How do i change width of autogenerated sidebartext ?

  • I have changed the width of the default theme making text field wider and sidebar smaller. So far so good, BUT when i go into month or categori view there is a text string generated by the theme that flows besides the sidebar. Look here for example:

    http://www.bionaut.dk/?m=200608 (its the “You are currently browsing the Bionaut.dk weblog archives for August, 2006” tekst)

    How do i get that text to user shorter line lenght ? And where can i change the text since i would like to translate it to my own language ?

    Hope someone can help

    They are located in the conditional statements at the top of the sidebar.php file.

    Also, you will have the same problem on every the rest of the text in the sidebar when you have longer titles. If you alter the #sidebar css rule to look like this:

    #sidebar
    {
    padding: 20px 0 10px 0;
    margin-left: 610px;
    width: 130px;
    }

    All I did was change the width from what you had (170px) to 130px.

    Thanks i really apreciate it. I will try it out at once. Thanks buddy.
