  • Hello,

I have uploaded a couple of themes for my blog. But when I activate them, the site title does not change to my own title. How can I change the site title?

  • I’d suggest taking a look in the header.php file in the default theme and comparing it with whatever’s in the themes youve uploaded — specifically the part that deals with the <title> tag.

But it’s a pretty poor theme that doesn’t display your blog title. I wonder what else in them is badly coded?

i’ve tried comparing the uploaded themes to the default theme, and i can’t figure out what’s wrong. i even uploaded another theme and it does the same thing. i just can’t figure it out!

Try going to your Presentation tab and go to theme editor. In post themes there will be 2 files that have title information in them. Look for something like index.php, main index template, or home. Any file that would look like it carries the main page infomration.

    Hope this helps!
