    I'm trying to change the title of my blog from text to a logo.gif file. My site:

    http://twitchplay.com/ (The title in the header is text, I want to replace it with a logo.)

    I'm having trouble figuring out how to do it. I *think* I've narrowed it down to this line of code in my header.php file, but I'm not entirely sure:

    <?php if (is_home()) echo('<h1 id="title">'); else echo('<div id="title">');?><a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?> "><?php bloginfo('name'); ?></a><?php if (is_home()) echo('</h1>'); else echo('</div>');?>

    I really have no idea how to go about putting a logo in there. If anyone knows how to insert it in there, I would appreciate the help.

    <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>

    img src="http://path_to_your_gif_file.gif/"

    Easy isn't it?

    Awesome! That worked great, thanks. The only problem I'm having now is getting alt text to show up when I hover on it. Here is what I'm putting:

    <img src="http://path_to_your_gif_file.gif/" alt="alt text">

    I though I knew how to at least do that... but I guess not. ><

    i dont see an image on your site that matches anything resembling a title. and in case you are looking in FF -- FF doesnt do ALT text tooltips.

    Thats what title is for.

    <img src="http://path_to_your_gif_file.gif/" alt="alt text" title="alt text" />

    Ahah! Perfect. I had no idea the title text existed. Thanks a lot. The formatting is a bit screwy still, but I should be able to get it how I want it.
