Support » Plugin: Easy Forms for Mailchimp » How do I change the colour of the submit button?

  • Resolved monicageorgieff

    I’ve just started using the Easy Forms plugin to make opt-in marketing forms on many pages on our blog, but can’t seem to figure out how to change the button colour.

    I’d like all buttons on the website that use Easy Forms to have a background-color: #d62828

    Where can I edit that? I know I need to add some css somewhere, but not confident where exactly.

    I appreciate the help!

    Hi @monicageorgieff,

    The best place for this is probably via the Additional/Custom CSS section of your site’s customizer. Go to Appearance > Customizer and add this CSS to the Additional CSS section:

    .yikes-easy-mc-submit-button.btn {
       background-color: #d62828;

    Also, please remove the custom CSS from the form builder’s custom class section. That won’t work and could break something. 🙂

    Thanks so much, Kevin!
    I just removed the custom ccs from the custom class section (it was leftover from my trying various things) and added the code snippet you gave me. However, nothing has changed yet. Did I input it correctly? – here is the link to double check:

    It just worked! I probably needed to refresh 🙂 Sorry to be a bother, but if I want to change the text to white instead of black, what would I need to add? Thank you x100

    No problem! Happy to help.

    Add the following CSS:

    .yikes-easy-mc-submit-button.btn .yikes-mailchimp-submit-button-span-text {
        color: white;

    Amazing! Thank you so much, everything worked 🙂
