How do I change the color of my site title and tagline?

  • I’ve been trying to change the color of my site title and tagline. I tried clicking on “Appearance” then ‘customize’ but when I try to change it, I keep getting a log in screen with the message, “Session expired. Please log in again. You will not move away from this page.” I log in and receive the message “Log in successful” but as soon as it flashes on the screen, it disappears again and goes back to the “Session expired” message. I can go through this cycle endlessly without getting anywhere. It does change the color in the dashboard preview but not on the site itself. So I tried going through topics at the support forums but found nothing like this. I tried using the “Editor” and going into the style sheet but changing the font color there has had no effect. Not even sure if I’m in the right place because all I’ve found on the other topic threads is advice for changing other themes so what I’m reading doesn’t match what I’m using, which is “Supermoon,” a child theme of Twenty Ten. I’ve been trying to do this on my own for weeks with no change evident and I’m getting really frustrated. I managed to change the color from black to white when I first set up the site months ago, but since I updated to 3.6 I haven’t been able to do it again. http://www.kayemunroe.com/
