• When I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress, the font in my blog changed, and now it looks really ugly. I can’t work out how to change it – can anyone help?

  • I’m not sure what you mean ugly here. Here’s a demo of your theme, and it has exactly the same “font” as on your website — at least for the post title (Raleway on both) and post body paragraphs (Bitter on both).

    What am I missing?

That demo looks great George, and that’s how my posts used to look. But the latest one looks horrible, and I don’t understand why this is happening. I’m not sure if it is just the font, or if something else has gone wrong.

Again, I don’t know what specifically on your page you’re referring to.

If you’re referring to the block of text shown below, please understand that this is NOT from a paragraph block. This is PREFORMATED text (code <pre>) which is a totally different thing from a PARAGRAPH of text (code: <p>).

So if this is what you mean by “ugly” and “horrible”, this has nothing to do with any update you did. More likely, you mistakenly used the wrong block — the PREFORMATED block instead of of the PARAGRAPH block.

The rest of the page has just a bunch of linked URLs, ALL of which use exactly the same “Bitter” font as in the demo.

Again, if I’ve not understood your problem, please take time to clearly explain exactly which part of your page the problem is occurring. Include an annotated screenshot if necessary.

Ah – that has fixed it! Thanks George – I don’t know how that happened, although I was in a rush when I uploaded it. I like the block editing system but I still find it a bit confusing sometimes.
