    Try adding:

    .site header .title-area {
     width: 100%;
    }

    .site header .wrap {
     text-align: center;
    }

    As @Andrew said
    add that code to custom css
    Regarding header height , as of now header has padding of 40px above and below.

    .site-header {
    padding: 40px 0;
    }

    if you want to reduce that change that 40px to what ever spacing you want

    Don't make changes directly in the style.css.
    If theme has option for custom css paste there else use this plugin

    In Header and Footer scripts? Because then the code ends up as text in the upper left corner :/

    I'm not familiar with the theme, if you're not sure where to put it then install a Custom CSS plugin and put them in that plugin's section of the dashboard

    Not in the header or footer .If the theme don't have option for custom css styles.
    Use this plugin

    The following code

    .site header .title-area {
     width: 100%;
    }

    .site header .wrap {
     text-align: center;
    }
    .site-header {
    padding: 20px 0;
    }

    Hey,

    Im really struggling to get this to work. Trying to centre my logo and the main text. I have tried putting code in the custom CSS and also using the simple custom CSS plugin and am having no luck.

    my site is: http://www.barnetfairvintage.com

    Im quite new to all this so please excuse my stupidity.

    Im using Church theme which has a custom css option but as mentioned, the code people have mentioned above doesnt have any effect.

    Thanks,

    It doesn't look like there's a Custom CSS plugin active on your site

    Hi there,

    I have the Simple Custom CSS plugin activated on the site. I only installed and activated this about an hour ago.

    I've tried the code above in it and it doesn't do anything :/

    I want my logo on the right side of my site title and larger.
    I am a newbie to webdesign. This is what I did:
    1. I edited my logo size to 50 x 50 and uploaded it into the Brand tab in customize.
    2. The logo covered the site title, but left the site tag.
    3. In the custom CSS tab in customize, I used the code from Andrew above, changing center to right. Nothing happened. Here is Andrews code:
    .site header .title-area {
    width: 100%;
    }

    .site header .wrap {
    text-align: center;
    }

    My website is http://bartleyhousepublications.com

    I found the custom CSS in Customize, but I don't know where to find the CSS for the Omega parent theme. Where would I look?

    Any help would be appreciated.
