  • Widgets are added through sidebars.
    Can you please explain what you actually want so we could better understand this? Thank you. 🙂

    I want to add say a photo gallery to the main body of the page instead in the sidebar. Is that possible?

    Also, why can’t I change the color of my background? Or remove the “Home” title from the page?

    Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hey,

    If you talking about the flicker gallery which you see in footer that is from widget so you can access them only through sidebar but if you want to add a gallery on the main body of the page you can do that by using any gallery plugin.

    Use the following css to change the background color.

    .content {
        background: #333;
    }

    Just picking up on this as it is possible to add widgets to pages. This can be done with the help of plugins such as Widgets on Pages.
