How do I add the author of the posts into my slider?

My website has various authors who will be posting so we would like a way for the viewer to see the name of the author of each post in the slider if it is possible.
As of now, the slider can only show the date and the number of comments.

@syfqhdr7 I would suggest creating a child theme and then making changes to
entry/frontpage-banner.php. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_author for more details. Hope that helps.
