how do i add text to my source code

  • I’m trying to add a link directory to my site and i need to add text in my source code for the page. but it won’t allow me to paste. Does anybody know how?

  • Appearance -> Editor -> Header.php

    Add your link directly under the <title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title> tag

    This will post the link into the source code but it will be invisible to
    your users. That´s more likely a browser reference. You can see some links
    into the header.php file such as:

    <link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” media=”all” href=”<?php bloginfo( ‘stylesheet_url’ ); ?>” />

    From there you can copy and alter it into something like this:

    <link href=”/your.file” rel=”whatever it is” />
