Support » Fixing WordPress » how do i add text to my source code
5 years ago
I’m trying to add a link directory to my site and i need to add text in my source code for the page. but it won’t allow me to paste. Does anybody know how?
Appearance -> Editor -> Header.php
Add your link directly under the <title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title> tag
This will post the link into the source code but it will be invisible to
your users. That´s more likely a browser reference. You can see some links
into the header.php file such as:
<link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” media=”all” href=”<?php bloginfo( ‘stylesheet_url’ ); ?>” />
From there you can copy and alter it into something like this:
<link href=”/your.file” rel=”whatever it is” />
I hope this was what you were looking for.
