Support » Plugin: WP User Manager - User Profile Builder & Membership » How do I add success message after Registration form?

I use the shortcode to show the registration form. I can’t find anywhere in the docs or settings or Googling, how to add a message after the form submits.

I’m showing the form via the shortcode that appears in Elementor which has the WPMU element.

I’ve looked for hooks or anything that might let me show a message.

As it is now, after a user submits registration, the screen basically just refreshes with a new empty form, and gives them no information or a “success” message of any kind.

    What can I do?

    Hi @guyinpv

A confirmation message is automatically displayed if you haven’t enabled a redirect after registration.

Can you make sure you didn’t setup the redirect to redirect to the registration page again? You can set this up under Users -> Settings -> Redirects -> After registration in your admin panel.

    Let me know.

    Hi Alessandro,

Yes, looks like the client did put the register page back in as a redirect.

I removed that so the redirect is unselected.

Now how can I change what the success message says? We have an approval process to go through, so users can’t immediately log in, we need to give them some instructions/info.

    Thanks!

Never mind, I found the filter “wpum_registration_success_message” and it works now!

    Thanks again, case closed!
