I installed the Cart-Based Shipping plugin on a client’s WordPress site, which already runs WooCommerce. The client wants to charge a flat rate of $9 or $12 for a single book purchased. For each additional book (2 and above) an additional $1 should be charged. I was able to specify this in Cart Based Shipping. So far, so good. When I go to the shopping cart and test purchaing four books, I see three options, each with a radio button next to it:
* Flat Rate $12
* Hold for Pickup
* Shipping–Add’l Items $3
This is good, but there is a problem. The $3 is not included in the total. It needs to be added to the Flat Rate of $12. It’s not an either-or option; both the Flat Rate and the Shipping–Add’l Items figures need to be added. But I can only check one item or the other, not both. How to I make sure the additional per-item shipping cost is included with every purchase, whenever there are two or more items?
