Support » Plugin: MapMaker Enhanced Google Maps » how do I add my custom map to a post?

  • After reading the documentation, I’m still in-the-dark about how to include a particular custom map location in a post.

    The documentation says:

To place your map, simply use the following shortcode:

    [custom-mapping height=”700px” width=”960″]

This shows a google maps window with the default location centered. How do I specify (in this post) which location will be centered? As in, a location that is not the default? Can you please provide an example?

    Thanks.

Hi there! Can you link me to the map? In the map settings, you’ll simply select the location where you’d like the map to center. All other locations will exist on the map too, it will just center on the selected location. Again there is a dropdown in the map settings (not location settings) that let’s you specify the default centered location. Let me know if this is what you meant.
