How do I add javascript to a page?

  • Hi I want to add some javascript that will load some function likes news widgets for exaple. But I understand after reading in the forum that you just can add the code straight away into the WYSIWYG editor – nothing happens..
    For example I wish to add this code:

    <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://www.earnforex.com/js/embed/pip-value.js”></script>

    But how do i get it working in wordpress. – coding is not my strong skill set at all. I know a little html for householding keeps but that’s it.

    Thanks..

    Daniel

  • Hi Daniel,

    Enclose the above snippet of code within a ‘<div>’ like this:

    <div>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.earnforex.com/js/embed/pip-value.js"></script>

    </div>

    That should work!

    Great, Thank you – I’ll try that out!
