How do I add an image on top of the background?

    On my website I am trying to place small jpegs/pngs on top of the background (but underneath the three boxes that you can see). I cannot make them part of the background image, as I want them to stay in place and not change size if someone zooms out.

    What is the code to place these? I have tried several that I found by googling, but none of them have worked.

    Would it be part of the CSS or another design file?

    If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
