How do I add a subtitle to my blog

  • Again, please understand that I’m new at this and would really appreciate some help here. My question now is: How do I add a subtitle underneath my title? When I open my visual mode to start my page, there is an oblong box where I put my title, so how can I add a subtitle before entering the body of my text? Many thanks for your help!

  • You could have the first line of your body text be the subtitle, using
Subtitle here
tags and then have a space below that before you write your text.

If you’re using the visual editor, you can just highlight the text and use the little dropdown where the default is Paragraph and change that to Heading 2.

    Thanks much, Alx.

    Hi Alx,

I don’t know where to find that dropdown where the default is Paragraph. I’m using version 2.9.2, if that makes any difference. Could you please clarify? Thanks
