    Hi!

I want to add a contact form (contact form 7) to a dashboard widget. How does this work?

    Greetings, unwohltaeter

  • Do you mean sidebar widget?

Add a ‘text html’ widget to the sidebar and enter the Contact 7 shortcode.

No, not a sidebar widget. I mean the boxes you can see on the admin dashboard. Like “incoming links”, “recent comments” and so on.

    Ok,
I got it for multi-site, site authors, admins etc: to super admin?

I would ask in the Multi-Site forum, it may need a different plugin, I had a WPMU install and there were admin plugins like that.

WPMU-Premium have a Custom Content Dashboard Widget but that costs!

Check out this post, not sure if it will work with a short code, but you should be able to copy the the html layout from Contact 7 and use that.
